Local Company Swims With The Sharks... | Arts & Culture
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
A local company is appearing on national television this weekend. The Tippi Toes company is a traveling dance class for children ages 2 to 5. Tippi Toes is appearing on ABC's Shark Tank. It was one of 55,000 businesses to apply to be on the show, but one of only 35 or so that actually made it.
The company's two founders, Megan Riley and Sarah Noose, will try to convince a panel of business sharks to invest in their company, but so far no one is saying what happened.
Tara Cassman owns the local Tippi Toes franchise and says even she doesn't know how it will turn out.
(So I have to ask you this. Did you guys win?) I can't tell you that," Cassman says laughingly. (Why can't you tell me that?) "Because one, I don't know and two, Megan and Sarah have been sworn to secrecy. So, you'll have to watch the show Sunday night."
The season preview of Shark Tank airs Sunday night, March 20th, at 8 pm on ABC 6. Cassman says she'll watch the show at a viewing party at Beetle's Bar & Grill.
