Are you a young adult (ages 18-25) who wants to make a difference? Check out the Olmsted County Young Adult Advisory Board this Wednesday. The group will meet February 27th at 5:30 pm in room 322 at UMR. This week, the group is going to plan activities for Public Health Week (April 1-7)! If you are interested in making the community a healthier and happier place to live, you're invited to attend!   

The 29th Annual Taste Of The Town celebration, a fundraiser for The Salvation Army’s Good Samaritan Health Clinic, is scheduled for Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Rochester International Event Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This year’s event, presented by Sterling State Bank, will feature 29 area restaurants and vendors preparing delicious foods representing the various culinary offerings of our community. A silent auction will help raise funds in support of both the medical and dental programs available at Good Samaritan Health Clinic in Rochester. Tickets are $40 each for non-reserved seating, $300 for a Shared Table Sponsorship (includes four reserved seats and media mentions) or $500 for a Full Table Sponsorship (includes eight reserved seats and media mentions).
