Investigators Asking For Help in Baby "Angel" Case | Crime

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Winona County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's helping in finding baby "Angel's" parents.
She was found last fall in the Mississippi River inside a bag. So far, there's been no significant leads. The BCA says its using the baby's DNA to help track down her parents.
"We're just hoping we can get closure to it someday," said David Brand, Winona County Sheriff.
A funeral will be held for her Saturday, April 7 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winona. The visitation begins at 12 p.m. and the service begins at 1p.m. The public is invited to attend.
An anonymous person donated a headstone for the baby which is currently being made. She will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona.
