FMCS Issues Peak Alert | Environment

Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services and Heartland Power Cooperative ask their members to "Power Down" from 11:00am until 7:00pm today.  Please wait until after 7:00pm to use any unnecessary electric power this evening.  Today is a peak alert day due to high demands for electricity caused by hot temperatures.  Please avoid the use of appliances and any unnecessary electric usage until after 7:00pm this evening.  Waiting until seven will help keep electricity costs low for members of Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services and Heartland Power Cooperative.  Thank you.
