There are still tickets available for the Dinner and Comedy Benefit the LINK program is hosting May 14th at Goonies Comedy Club in downtown Rochester. Doors open at 6 PM, dinner served at 6:30 and comedy is from 7:30 to 9 PM. Rochester Public Schools' School Readiness Program has received the highest rating possible, four out of four stars, from the Parent Aware orgnization. The School Readiness Program is an effort between RPS and Child Care Resource and Referral serving children from three years old to kindergarten age. According to the district, the program works to make sure young children enter school with the necessary skills and behaviors to progress and flourish.

Parent Aware helps parents in Minnesota find child care and early education providers focused on high quality early learning and kindergarten readiness. Their one- to four-star ratings system – a free service – measures best practices identified by research that help children succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
