Nurses Night Out! Celebrate and Honor Them!

Nurses Night Out! Celebrate and Honor Them!

We can all remember a time in our life when we have been sick or injured. Almost every time we visit the hospital there’s that one special person that is always the first to help you… a nurse.

Come and pay tribute to one of the hardest working groups in the hospital Thursday, May 30th in the Peace Plaza for Nurses Night Out.

This event is free and open to the whole community. From 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. local businesses and bars will line the Peace Plaza as we celebrate one of our favorite health care professionals.

5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. there will be a fashion show on the Peace Plaza stage. There will even be a life-size Operation board bean bag toss. Great music, lots of prizes, cash bars, and food vendors; what better way to say thanks to our wonderful nurses.

Destination Medical Center Forum

Destination Medical Center Forum

Just what is Destination Medical Center? What will it mean for the residents of Rochester and the citizens of Minnesota? How will the financing work? What kind of oversight will there be of State funding? What kind of projects can we expect in the Rochester area over the next 20 years? Join us on Wednesday March 20th at the Heintz Center for a public forum to learn more about particular aspects of DMC: financing, governance, public involvement, and the vision of DMC. Mayo will provide experts in each of these fields to answer specific questions and join in on public dialogue exploring the views and concerns of individual citizens. The event is free and open to the public.
